Importing Branded Ipods, Mobile Phones & Other Electronics

Are you thinking about starting a business importing branded goods such as iPods, mobile phones and other consumer electronics ? for the following reasons I strongly suggest you think again!
Branded products are NOT sold any cheaper or wholesale in China, brands such as Apple & Sony have there own direct sales and distribution channels, which basically means they DO NOT sell from the factory or wholesale to just anyone. There products are Shipped directly from the factory’s in China to warehouses and storage in the country were they will later be distributed by selected channels.

There are a lot of websites claiming to sell branded goods such as iPods, Xbox’s and other electronics. Unfortunately most of these websites will simply take your money and send you nothing, if you are lucky you might receive a cheap copy.

If you want to build a sustainable business from importing from china I would suggest looking at high value yet unbranded consumer goods, or find a niche of your own.
